This is one of my most favorite episodes.

Duane took a hilarious picture of me and Cyndri today. This is probably the most DUH I have ever seen her.

A pet chihuahua dog has adopted a baby chick in China. Huahua took charge of the chick as soon as owner Liu Bangyang’s daughter brought it home.

She regards the chick as her baby and stands guard to make sure it comes to no harm, reports the Chongqing Morning News.

And, whenever the chick strays too far, Huahua picks it up gently in her mouth and puts it back in its cot.

We had to put Muffin down yesterday.

Well… I don’t really know (or I’d be sitting here counting my money… ), but this guy doesn’t either…

A Boise man was arrested Tuesday night after witnesses said he attempted to walk out of the Only One Dollar Store at 7062 W. State St. with the store’s money bag. Kent Wayne Kendall, 31, is charged with felony burglary in connection with the incident. Witnesses told police a man asked to use the non-public bathroom in the back of the store and found a money bag with $527 in a nearby office just before 8 p.m. Witnesses said the man then attempted to walk out with the bag when someone called dispatchers, according to Boise Police reports. Kendall was arrested at the store a short time later.

$527?! Hahahahaha

I was looking through some older pictures and found one of my favorite pictures of Rocky. Rocky loves sitting on our laps. The problem is – he is too big and too heavy… He knows it – I’m pretty sure. Because he drops his ass and gets a goofy look on his face…

Oops… I wrote this one last night but forget to post it. Duh. I was dead tired.

We filed our taxes tonight. Woohoo. We are actually getting some money back! Going to try and stick everything in the savings… I was kind of hoping we could do something fun together this summer for our 10th anniversary.
We took Rocky to the vet last night for his shots. Duane took him in last year while I was at work – we decided to never let poor hubby go alone again. Rocky is a bitch and a half, a wiener checker, a sad sack, a nebech on wheels… We had to get him all dopey yesterday (he gets a little out of control when we take him in) and even then he tried to snap at the vet. Smart me, I stuck my face right next to him when she poked him with the needle. She had to tell me to keep my face away from him, just in case he freaks out (he had a muzzle on, though) Or maybe she meant – don’t show him your face – you are going to scare him even more? Rocky was nice enough to leave a little turd and a few drops of yellow on the counter, which I had to clean (Duane was supporting him because he was getting all wobbly). We took him home and he was acting mopey-dopey all evening. I felt so bad – I really didn’t want to do this to him – he was walking funny around the house, looking like he is not sure where he is and who we are. Oh the colors!
Going to the Flying Pie for dinner tonight. Yay!!
